14. EARLY DEPARTURE
If a participant voluntarily chooses to leave the retreat early for personal reasons, they should notify NAPPYESE as soon as possible.
NAPPYESE will make reasonable efforts to assist with departure arrangements, but additional transportation or accommodation costs may be the participant’s responsibility.

We want the retreat to remain intimate, so photography will be approached respectfully.
Participants may be asked to provide separate consent for identifiable promotional use of their image.
NAPPYESE will not require a participant to participate in a testimonial, interview or promotional recording.
If you do not wish to appear in promotional photography or video, please notify the NAPPYESE team before or during the retreat and reasonable efforts will be made to respect that preference.
Participants must also respect the privacy of other guests and must not photograph, record or publish identifiable images, private conversations or sensitive personal disclosures involving another participant without their consent.

18. COMPLAINTS & CONCERNS
We want concerns to be addressed promptly.
If you experience a problem during the retreat, please notify a member of the NAPPYESE team as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to address it while the retreat is taking place.

Nothing in this complaints procedure prevents a consumer from exercising rights available under Nigerian law, including applicable consumer-protection remedies. The FCCPC also provides a formal consumer complaint process.
19. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If a dispute arises, both parties should first make a reasonable attempt to resolve the matter directly and in good faith.
Where appropriate, the parties may agree to mediation or another alternative dispute-resolution process before commencing formal proceedings.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a participant from exercising a statutory right to seek redress through an appropriate regulatory body, tribunal or court.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally or through an agreed alternative dispute-resolution process may be referred to a court or other forum having lawful jurisdiction.
20. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
NAPPYESE will take reasonable care in organising and delivering COME HOME.
However, participants acknowledge that the retreat takes place in a rural and outdoor environment and that some risks are inherent in camping, travel, movement and interaction with natural surroundings.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, NAPPYESE is not responsible for loss or damage arising solely from:
- a participant’s own unlawful or intentional conduct;
- a participant’s failure to follow reasonable safety instructions;
- a participant’s material failure to disclose relevant information that they knew or reasonably should have known was relevant to safe participation;
- risks voluntarily undertaken by a participant despite reasonable warnings; or
- circumstances outside NAPPYESE’s reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or attempts to transfer any liability, consumer right or legal remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or transferred under Nigerian law.
21. PARTICIPANT INDEMNITY
To the extent permitted by applicable law, a participant may be responsible for reasonable losses, costs or claims arising from that participant’s own:
- unlawful conduct;
- deliberate misconduct;
- negligent conduct;
- material breach of these Terms; or
- deliberate or negligent damage to property.
This provision does not require a participant to indemnify NAPPYESE for NAPPYESE’s own liability where such liability cannot legally be transferred to the participant.
22. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
NAPPYESE may make reasonable administrative updates to these Terms where necessary.
Where a change materially affects a participant’s rights or obligations after booking, NAPPYESE will provide reasonable notice and will not use an amendment to remove rights that cannot lawfully be removed.
The Terms applicable to a participant will be those provided or made available at the time of booking, together with any subsequent changes that are lawfully applicable.
23. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it lawful where possible.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
24. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with the information presented on the official COME HOME booking page and any specific written booking confirmation provided to the participant, form the basis of the participant’s agreement with NAPPYESE for the retreat.
If there is a material conflict between general promotional content and these Terms, the specific booking terms and applicable law will govern.
