Hola Chicas!! Welcome to 2017! The year when ALL our dreams come true! LITERALLY. We are alive, breathing and healthy. What more could we ask for?

Aaaaaannnddd its my birthday in 8 days!!

Can you believe it?! A whole 23 years on earth. I am working on a special get to know me tag video for YouTube with a really special person in my life who also has the same birthday as me Subscribe to NappyeseTV on Youtube so you don’t miss it and celebrate my special day with me♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

January Essentials; Natural Hair things I am Loving

These are the natural hair things I am kicking the year off with YASS!!

If you follow my Instagram, you’d know that these bottles of Hairfinity hair growth supplement are early birthday gifts :). I was struggling hard to get my hands on them, begging people to help me buy just 2 bottles back from the states, all to no avail. But look at Baba God!!! I got 6 bottles as a gift! I mean what more could a hair blogger ask for??

The first time I tried Hairfinty was around this same time last year on my first visit to NYC because I saw so many rave reviews and natural hair pages talking about it. I was not disappointed. I noticed my hair increase in density and thickness. It didn’t break as much, I had less split ends and tangles, long story short I was impressed. This  is the first ever hair supplement I’ve tried. Full product review coming up soon!

And I finally added Rosemary and Ylang Ylang Essential Oil to my cabinet. If you haven’t caught the gist on Essential Oils for Natural Hair Care&Growth you are sleeping on your natural hair, without satin!! <LOLZzzz I hope you get it> Show your scalp some of nature’s pure love. Your Kinks with thank you.

Although Shea Moisture was my first love, it’s not readily available yet in SA. Shout out to Natural Nimi for recommending Cantu Shea Butter Leave-in conditioner on Top 5 Nappy friendly Natural Hair Products NG.  Mushu(my fro) loooves this stuff!!

I have now followed up with the Cantu-Shea Butter Conditioning co-wash which I used to co-wash my braids (See how to wash hair in Braids/Locs here). My Natural sisters in Nigeria, don’t forget you can get Cantu and many other nappy friendly products online at Konga.com

Yaaalll!! With all of these goodies Mushu is getting pampered with, fingers crossed we can unleash glorious #BlackgirlMagic on the VSRunway 2017!!

Don’t forget to tune in to NAPPYESE TV on the 19th and wish me a Happy Birthday!

And what is your hair loving now? Share the fro love in comment and also any questions you might have.
