Hatha yoga uses bodily postures (asanas ), breathing techniques (pranayama ), and meditation (dyana ) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. The practice of Hatha is to prepare the mind for deeper spiritual practice such as meditation.
Yoga energizes and invigorates the body, certain asanas aid digestion, fights depression, reduces the pain of mental cramps, clams the mind. Yoga reduces stress and anxiety. It revitalizes the brain, massages the abdominal and sex organs. It improves posture, tones, strengthens and stretches the muscles increasing their life span.
The possibilities are endless with Yoga!
